I was born in Sussex and have lived in Rose Green and Aldwick since 1990.
My 12th Great Grandfather was Bishop Curteys of Chichester from 1570-86 and my 10th Great Grandparents, William and Mary were married at Woodmancote in 1565.
I have learned much about inclusion and togetherness, in particular since the Open Forum on the 3rd April.
Especially these things:
I believe that we share a basic desire for togetherness and community..
It’s hard but it’s a noble and inspiring vision.
It’s based on kindness, beauty and truth.
Total inclusion is not possible.
It’s more of a journey than a destination.
The more inclusive we are, the stronger we get.
We are all humans, with human frailties.
If we support each other and learn from our frailties we get stronger.
The challenges are worth it.
