Fake news items are false stories that appear to be news, spread on the internet or using other media, usually created to influence political views or as a joke.
We do allow, in fact encourage humour, as a means of promoting Bognor - just so long as it conforms with our rules of engagement and clearly indicates it's true nature.
After all, humour is, and always has been a creative art and a great source of entertainment and inspiration.
